manniac1972@hotmail.comI'm a crazy old lady trying to be young again. Be, not look. So long as the sag stays away til my 60s (good genes!) I'm happy. I just want to be young at heart.
My kids are part of my nefarious plan to beat maturity. So long as I have a preteen in the house, no one bats an eye at OUR Nintendo. I can read all the Harry Potter deconstructions I want! Playing dress-up is totally cool! And bringing up the rear, I have a 2 year old to share these interests with when ultimately my first daughter outgrows them.

Not to mention, still being able to read picture books is pretty awesome, too.
My older daughter is homeschooled, and so my life revolves around a lot of my immature interests. (Harry Potter as a mythology lesson FTW, as they say.) Now I'm back online, I'll probably get back into some more grown-up interests, with more adult conversation than I can wring out of the special-snowflake parents in some of my homeschool co-ops.
